The Heart Behind CanisTrigger
I am a multilingual editor, translator, and TEFL-qualified language teacher with over a decade of experience in publishing and more than fifteen years in education and communication. I specialise in English–Italian translation, editorial support, and language instruction for learners from A1 to C2.
CanisTrigger Publishing (named after a little canine with a huge heart and immense courage) began as my independent publishing project, through which I edited, translated, and produced literary works and cultural content. Today, I continue to use the name as my creative and professional platform, offering freelance editorial and language services to authors, learners, and organisations.
My background includes twelve years as an Editor-in-Chief, where I managed international publications from concept to final release. I also design original language-learning programmes, including Italiano da mangiare, a food-based Italian course that blends cultural immersion with vocabulary and communication skills.
Independent Publishing & Print-on-Demand
I publish my own work and selected projects through established print-on-demand service. This digital printing model allows me to produce high-quality books (just like offset printing) with flexible distribution while maintaining full creative control.
Over the years, I have produced and formatted a wide range of books, including poetry collections, short stories, cultural writing, and collaborative anthologies. I assist writers at different stages of their publishing journey, from first draft to polished manuscript. My experience includes preparing books for both print and digital release, ensuring clean formatting, visual consistency, and high readability.

Paperback books (with full-colour soft cover) are very popular; they are available with perfect binding in the following formats:
203 x 127 mm, 203 x 133 mm, 216 x 140 mm, 229 x 152 mm (pocket size) and 254 x 178 mm, 280 x 210 mm, 254 x 203 mm, 297 x 210 mm (A4).
Hardback books (with hard cover) are available in the following formats:
229 x 552 mm, 216 x 140 mm (with laminated cover or dust jacket), 254 x 178 mm (with laminated cover).

My Support Services
I help authors turn their manuscripts into professionally finished books. My support services can include copy-editing and line editing, the creation of an original cover, layout and interior book formatting, preparation of digital proofs for review.
